Eugene whakatope

Ko Eugene Whakatope toku ingoa. Born in Te Wairoa Aotearoa I am a descendant of Ngāti Kahungunu ki Te Wairoa, Ngāpuhi, and Ngāi Tūhoe. Residing in Ōtautahi ki Waitaha o Te Waipounamu, I am on the journey of becoming a ringatoi in contemporary and traditional toi whakairo. I am inspired by my whakapapa and informed by ngā Atua o te taiao in my practice of ngā mahi whakairo ngā mahi Toi.
