Born in Murihiki, Rhyce grew up having a strong connection with the ocean.

Always seeking an excuse to be near it, whether it be through his passion for diving or passion for surfing. Naturally, this love of the ocean inspires a lot of his mahi.

Rhyce’s toi journey is just beginning. After completing the course ‘Whatu Kura Toi’ at Whakraupo Carving Centre, Rhyce is excited to see what comes next on his toi journey.
